One seam instead of 3!
Many homes have corners. In order to get around the corner with gutters we install a miter. We use what is called a "strip miter", which means you have only 1 seam in the corner to seal. When a "box miter" is used, there are 3 seams to the corner that must be sealed. Less seams equals less leaks in the future and a nice look as well.

A very vulnerable area often missed is where the gutter meets a wall, either against the siding or J-Channel. A deflector to direct the water from those areas into the gutter is the best way to prevent water dripping and future deterioration.
